			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool &amp; Spa Safety Act of 2007 </strong>is a new federal law enacted to help prevent suction entrapment injuries. This law became effective December 19, 2008.  Specific requirements for <strong>public swimming pools, spas, and wading pools must be met before these facilities can be operated after that date.</strong></p>
<p>In summarization, the new law requires specific drain covers and has specific backup system requirements.  Contact your Tallman Pools representative for more information and/or to schedule your equipment upgrades.</p>
